State-Level Analysis of the Impacts of the American Clean Energy and Security Act

On June 26, 2009, the U.S. House of Representatives approved H.R. 2454, the American Clean Energy and Security Act.  The legislation would create millions of new clean energy jobs, enhance America’s energy independence, and protect the environment.  And it would reduce the deficit by billions of dollars over the next decade.
